My Seven Days at GLPS.

I am here in GLPS camp. It is great here. Even though we write a diary every day, I hoped that there will be interesting 
things that I could turn into pictures because I can see them everyday everywhere.

Today is the first day of writing a photo essay. Since it is in the mountains, I want to describe nature. Everything grows. 
There are many trees here.
A lot of trees! When I  was taking a picture, I saw twin chestnuts. I hope I can grow 
well like a tree. Also, I hope I can make a better relationship with my brother. I felt this picture was interesting because
even though all two of them are sharp, twin chestnuts looked good with each other. 

Going to school

Today is a special day because it is Monday. It is the last week in GLPS. The reason why I chose this picture is because I wanted to show people the way to go to school. I hope today will be a lucky day. Everyone, good luck! 

Since the school is in mountains, we always go up and down the hills. It makes us healthy but, it make us muscles. But, the landscape is beautiful and we can see many kinds of birds and dragonflies. Everything is interesting.
On the way to go to my adviser's office, I have to go down since it is in C building. I love scenes here. 

It is summer, the hottest season! Also, in summer many plants grow up well. Trees, flowers, grasses,... etc. I especially love flowers because it smell good and it is beautiful. As I said, we can see many flowers and plants because it is in mountains. I hope all of the plants grow well until winter. 

I saw grass named foxtail. Since it
was the first time to see foxtail in this camp, I was happy. In Korean it is puppy grass. Because it looks like puppy's tail. However, in English, it's name is foxtail. Anyway, it was good to see foxtail during the camp. It looks really sharp but, in fact, it is really soft. At my school, friends used to tickle me by this grass. It is very funny. 

Today is very sunny. I love sunny day because it makes me feel it will be a good day. I wanted to take a picture of sky because the cloud looked like a dragon flying up to the sun. My favorite color is sky blue. I think today's sky color is exactly my favorite color. I feel I will be lucky today.

Wow!! Nice clouds! It is fantastic.
It looks like a volcano erupting. However, it is a cloud! It looks nice. I love these kinds of clouds because it is interesting. I hope I can be like a cloud because I can change my shape when wind blows. Sometimes, I wish I can be another person or another thing. Also, I want to taste clouds but clouds are just another form of air. How sad it is...

I think this seven days photo essay made me grew up more. 
I hope this seven days photo essay can make me remember one week in GLPS. 

Gabriella's creative writing

Title: Enemyfriends.

"The winner is.... Emily!" the principal announced.
"Damn,Damn,Damn!" summer murmured. Summer and Emily are rivals but they are good friends. However, in every competition, Emily won. The day of the last competition of semester, as usual Emily won the first place and Summer won the second place. At the same time, wicked witch, Sophia and wicked sorcerer, Nathan, was looking at Emily and Summer. Summer and Emily were good friends but, Summer and Emily were good friends but, Summer thought he was better than Emily. So, they always fought because even though Emily was right, Summer fought against that. Summer and Emily fought again but they didn't had chance to be friendly again because they had winter vacation. Also, they didn't contact each others because they fought with each other and it was kind of unnatural to talk first. The times went and the school began again. After a few days, they heard the wicked witch, Sophia and the wicked sorcerer, Nathan attacked their village. Emily and Summer was elected to use their Brains to make inventions they can protect village from Nathan and Sophia.

THE WIZARD OF OZ

The movie, "The wizard of OZ" is Fantasy. It is fictional. It is about a girl named Dorothy finding a way back home from the fantasy land. The characters are Dorothy, Toto, Scarecrow, Tin man, Lion, Wicked Witch of the West, The Wizard of OZ and Glinda the White Witch.

 Dorothy was a girl. She got her own dog, Toto. The day Toto escaped from a woman who brought Toto, Dorothy and Toto ran up to the house but came back to the house again. But, there was a tornado so everyone inside the house was out to hide from tornado. Than the tornado picked up the house and made a flight to Munchkin Land. Inside the house, Dorothy and Toto was horrified.Suddenly, the house landed in Munchkin Land. The house buried the wicked witch of the west. Dorothy owned the shoes of that witch. Then, Dorothy heard that the wizard of OZ will make her go home On the way to meet OZ, Dorothy met three friends. The Scarecrow, Tin man, and the Lion. The Scarecrow wanted a brain and Tin Man wanted a heart and the Lion wanted courage. So they killed the Wicked Witch of the West and they got all things that they wanted.

This movie was boring. But, I think the story of OZ is fantastic. I learned that the most comfortable and lovely place is in a house with family. Also, I realized that I can't do anything alone so I should be thankful to friends.

My 30 day challenge

Do you know about the 30-day challenge? It is a challenge to achieve in 30 days. I am going to introduce my 3 goals to achieve in 30-days.
My first goal is to earn many green cards.To make this goal come true, I have to listen carefully in class of course, and I should be active and get along with friends well. I want to get green cards because green cards give us benefits. We can be smart and good student. Second, I want to lose 2 kg. To achieve my goal, I shouldn't eat fast food because it makes us fat and unhealthy. Also, I will exercise everyday. If I do these things, I will lose weight and be healthy. Third, I will make many friends. Since I'm in camp, I should make new friends. I've already made 18 friends. But, I want to make more friends. To make more friends, I should be kind to my friends and I should be active and have manners. I want to achieve these 3 goals. I think it will be good and can be helpful if I improve my English skills in future.
